If your business serves local counties and towns, having a Google Business Profile is going to be VERY important. This is how many people may find your company when they're searching for local services, often even before your website comes up! The more active your profile is, the higher it can rank in local search results (the Google "map" section towards the top of the page).

There are many companies out there that provide online marketing services, although they often give this service more creative names, such as "Local Search Marketing". However, I do things a lot differently than almost all of these other online marketing firms:
- My fees are significantly less than the outrageous fees that most other online marketing firms charge.
- I submit all of your listings manually, by hand. Most online marketing firms use an automated process that globally sends out your information to directories, which almost always results in errors. If you're wondering why your roofing company is listed all over the internet under "pizza restaurants", that may be why.
- I put your company information on only the most reputable, trustworthy, popular online listing websites. Many online marketing firms brag that they'll add you to 100 or even 1,000 directories, so they can justify their exorbitant fees. But with online promotion, more isn't necessarily better, and can actually work to your disadvantage. There are only 20 or 30 high-ranking directories that Google tends to like. Adding your information to questionable, obscure directories violates Google Search's guidelines and can get your website blacklisted! The official Google Search Central Link Schemes article specifically warns against "low-quality directory" links.
