Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Here are some Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) about Hainesport Chiropractic. Please reach out if you have any questions.

Do You Take Insurance, and What Are Your Fees?

We are currently not in-network with any insurance providers, but we strive to keep our fees as reasonable as possible in an attempt to not limit anyone from obtaining the care they need.

What Can I Expect During My First Visit?

The first visit to our office involves taking your past health history, a consultation, a neurological and orthopedic examination, a chiropractic examination, DNFT® analysis, and a treatment. Our office tries very hard to run on schedule, so we ask our patients to arrive early and be prepared to spend a half hour being examined and adjusted by the chiropractor. A radiologist may be consulted for x-rays or MRI's in cases where our chiropractors may suspect fracture, disease, or disc involvement. Other testing or specialty consultation with neurologists or orthopedists may be recommended.

What is Your Privacy Practice?

We will use and disclose your protected health information to provide, coordinate, or manage your health care and any related services. This includes the coordination or management of your health care with a third party. For example, on occasion, your health care information may be provided to a physician to whom you have been referred to ensure that the physician has the necessary information to diagnose or treat you.

We may use or disclose your health information in the following situations without your authorization. These situations included, as required by law, public health issues, communicable diseases, health oversight, abuse or neglect, food and drug administration requirements, legal proceedings, law enforcement, coroners, funeral directors, organ donation, and any other required uses and disclosures under the law. We must make disclosures to you when required by the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services to investigate or determine our compliance with the requirements of Section 164.500.

We may disclose your protected health information to notify or assist in notifying a family member, or another person responsible for your care, about your medical condition or in the event of an emergency. Please contact our office to see our complete notice of privacy practices at 609-267-5550.
