Findling has well trained and MARTCP, ACI and Nuclear Gauge Safety certified construction inspectors assigned in the field performing construction inspection services on major highways, buildings, streets, dams and hazardous waste sites.
Our inspectors possess certification to inspect and test soils, concrete and asphalt from Maryland State Highways and other agencies.
Our employees have also attended the 40 hour OSHA HAZWOPER safety seminar to work at hazardous waste sites (1610.120). We also have SHA Certified Drilling Inspectors.
We possess all necessary equipment and tools to conduct field tests during construction on soils, concrete and asphalt, and more.

Findling, Inc. has drill rigs capable of drilling with hollow stem augers, mud or casing. A pontoon boat mounted drill rig and portable styrofoam barge are also available, giving us the capability of drilling over water. We have wireline equipment for coring rock to depths of over 150 feet. The augers range in size from 8 inch O.D. to 16 inch O.D., providing the ability to install up to 12 inch diameter cased wells. We can install double cased wells to depths exceeding 150 feet in coastal plain deposits.

Findling performed Geotechnical (Physical) laboratory tests on the sediment samples. The sediment samples were obtained from Dredge Material Containment Facility (Sites) in Maryland. These Sites included Masonville, Cox Creek and Poplar Island Sites. The laboratory tests included moisture content, grain size analysis including hydrometer analysis, atterberg limits and specific gravity tests.
